Do you remember your first WOD? What did you think on that first day?
My first WOD was baseline (minus the rowing since we didn’t have rowing machines then)
What kind of results have you experienced since starting CrossFit?
I have lost weight, and been able to find the ability to run 400m without stopping and to start weightlifting, I’ve never been confident in myself enough to.
What has been your biggest accomplishment since starting at CrossFit Confidence?
My biggest accomplishment would be pushing my body in ways that I would’ve never even imagined.. I’ve lifted heavier than I ever thought possible and never would’ve even imagined
What has CrossFit changed about your life?
It’s brought new confidence in myself and have found a whole new love for working out. Before I found CF i hated going to the gym and now I enjoy walking into the box everyday and challenging myself in new ways.
What is one goal that you are currently working on?
Gaining more confidence in my box jumps, they still scare the hell out of me.
What motivates you/keeps you coming back?
The challenge that every workout brings.. and the family and friends that I have made since joining the box.
What is your favorite benchmark WOD?
I don’t know if I have a favorite one.. they are all different and I haven’t tried them all.
Do you have a favorite song to work out to?
I don’t have a favorite song, I usually will listen to anything that is on including the Disney music..
What would you say to someone who is new or considering starting CrossFit?
It has been the best decision that I’ve made. You get challenged in ways you never even imagined your body can. The coaches are amazing in making sure you do the movements with the correct form and making sure you don’t hurt yourself. The friends you make there become more like family and all cheer for you whether you’re first or last.
What are some of your interests outside of CrossFit?
Hanging out with my kids and going to explore different places around MN. Like hanging out with friends and just being outside as much as possible
What do you do for a living?
What cereal cartoon character do you identify with the most? Why?
Tony the Tiger…. well because. “IM GRRRRRREAT”, once you get to know me… lol..
