Let's get to know Kyle a little better!


Do you remember your first WOD? What did you think on that first day?

"I don't remember what my 1st WOD was but I do remember the baseline and how I felt/thought about. I kept thinking about how I thought I was in decent shape but I was wrong. From that day I knew I was hooked."


What kind of results have you experienced since starting CrossFit?

"I have seen myself gain more strength, mobility and overall better health. I have noticed the changes I have made, the increased self esteem and confidence."


What has CrossFit changed about your life?

"The way I look at everyday health has changed. CrossFit has helped me change my eating habits and given me the drive to be better."


What is one goal that you are currently working on?

"1 goal is to improve my double-unders to 20 in a row"


What motivates you/keeps you coming back?

"My motivation is the changes that I am seeing and to keep improving the skills that I have learned at the box. Also the people at the box help keep me motivated, the support and encouragement they all give."


What is your favorite benchmark WOD?

"Haven't done this one yet but looks fun, Elizabeth."


Least favorite?

"Karen ( so far )"


Do you have a favorite song to workout to?

"No favorite song, just some angry music"


What would you say to someone who is new or considering starting CrossFit?

"I would say to them; don't worry about not being able to do something cause in time you will be able to do things you never thought you could. Just give it your all."


What are some of your interests outside of CrossFit?

"Interests outside CrossFit would be my son Jaxon who pushes me to go to the box everyday he is with me, hunting and fishing."


What do you do for a living?

"I work for Home Depot as a merchandising manager."


What cereal cartoon character do you identify with the most? Why?

"Cereal cartoon character am I? I have no clue but if I have to pick one it would be Tony the Tiger cause we are both badasses. Haha"

Lets get to know Todd a little better!


First of all, why do you go by Todd?

There were two Lauras and we would get confused when Coach would say Laura, so I said everyone can call me Todd as all of my old co-workers called me Todd.


Do you remember your first WOD?

The baseline-


What did you think on that first day?

At first I was nervous, but then Pat walked in and was very happy and welcoming-glad I went.


What kind of results have you experienced since starting CrossFit?

Stronger, less body fat, Knowledge and understanding of nutrition, and major confidence boost.


What has CrossFit changed about your life?

Feel better about myself, able to change myself, eating better and have a pretty amazing and supportive family at the box-


What is one goal that you are currently working on?

Getting ready for my first competition, Mayhem in Mankato.


What motivates you/keeps you coming back?

The improvements of myself both physically and mentally, and the crossfit community we have at the box.


What is your favorite benchmark WOD?

Karen-have this strange obsession with wall balls.


Least favorite?

Not sure if I have a least favorite, as they all make me a better athlete, but if I have to pick, definitely Angie.


Do you have a favorite song to workout to?

Shots by LFMAO.


What would you say to someone who is new or considering starting CrossFit?

Don’t let it scare you, keep trying and pushing yourself, it’s an entire mind, body and soul workout and it’s most amazing-


Favorite quote?

It doesn’t get easier, you just get better.


What are some of your interests outside of CrossFit?

Camping, motorcycle riding, bonfires, and being with friends.


What do you do for a living?

Staffing Manager for THE RIGHT STAFF.


What cereal cartoon character do you identify with the most? And why?

The captain from captain crunch, because I like to be the one in control.
